Summary: Responsibilities will include a full array of tax services in the areas of individual, partnership, corporate, trusts, estates and not-for-profit organizations and consulting to high net worth entrepreneurs, businesses and family groups. Industries include real estate, investment companies, professional service companies, hi-tech, manufacturing, distribution and not-for-profit organizations.

Minimum Requirements:
  • Minimum of 6-10 years of recent public accounting experience
  • Bachelors in Accounting or Masters Degree in Accounting or Tax
  • CPA preferred and/or J.D./LLM in Taxation

LITIGATION SENIOR MANAGER/PRINCIPAL - FAMILY LAW LITIGATION PRACTICE

We are currently looking to hire a Senior Manager/Principal in our Family Law Litigation Support practice.

Summary: The Litigation Senior Manager/Principal will be a leader and an integral member of the litigation team. The litigation team serves as either experts or consultants to legal counsel and other clients in family litigation, mediation and arbitration matters, including support analyses, financial tracings, valuations, and division of assets. This position is based in our Redwood Shores office with some travel to/from our San Francisco office.

Minimum Requirements:
  • 10+ years experience
  • BA/BS degree
  • CPA required
  • Preferred credentials – CPA, CVA, CFE and ABV
  • Family Law Litigation support experience and preferably tax compliance experience
  • Prefer prior expert witness testimony
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Existing network of solid contacts within the law community

  • Quicken and Marital Dissolution Software knowledge a plus

  • Consultation on Marital Settlement Agreements;
  • Strategic thinking on family law matters to assist clients and staff;
  • Expert witness testimony in Superior Courts


  • Other responsibilities include:

  • Design and oversee financial, economic and industry-specific research to support our analyses
  • Review and analyze client tax returns, financial statements and other documentation
  • Manage staff performance on projects, including spreadsheet models, input and output, data analysis, and valuations
  • Review and interpret client contracts/documents/data

The Accountant/Special Projects Coordinator will be an integral part of the Family Office group providing diversified administrative and day-to-day financial support to the Director and Controller of the Family Office in the service of our clients. Our ideal candidate will have an extensive and diverse accounting background; strong interpersonal skills with an approachable and professional demeanor; excellent verbal and written communication skills; able to handle and respond to multiple client and department demands; thrives in a fast paced and dynamic environment; is a team player but able to work independently.

Minimum Requirements:
  • 8 years minimum experience in accounting/bookkeeping
